Comment: I have a ranch style home, approximately 1040 square feet built over a dirt crawl space in 1957. It is built with a pier/beam foundation. Moisture in the crawl space has caused the piers to settle. This in turn has caused squeaking floors, cracks in both ceiling and walls. In addition the doors no longer close properly. I did have a sump pump and drain tiles installed.
