Why wait until your Cincinnati or Columbus home's foundation fails? Get your foundation issue taken care of now and prevent any further damage to your foundation or even the failure of the foundation walls. When houses are built in Ohio areas such as Cincinnati and Columbus, they are often constructed in expansive clay soils or poorly-compacted sediments. As these soils settle, expand, contract, or the foundation begins to shift, the foundation can be damaged. Symptoms of a damaged foundation can include tilting chimneys, cracks in the foundation, jamming doors, sticking windows, and an uneven floor. During rainstorms, larger foundation cracks can also allow water into the home, leading to a flooded basement.
It's wonderful to have some of the Foundation Supportworks network's best foundation repair specialists here in Ohio. But, then again, all the foundation repair specialists in the Foundation Supportworks Network is of the best in the country. From Cincinnati to Columbus, Dayton to Cleveland, you are in luck. There is a Foundation Supportworks dealer in your neighborhood who can perform foundation inspections and repair your foundation cracks, while stabilizing your home's foundation.
Expansive soils and soils with poor load-bearing capacity can wreak havoc on a building foundation, as well as on chimneys, retaining walls, driveways, concrete patios and sidewalks. When these structural elements crack, settle and shift, a multitude of problems are likely to occur, such as water intrusion, safety hazards, cracked walls, and doors and windows that become inoperable. The Foundation SupportWorks network has the tools, materials and expertise to correct these structural problems quickly and affordably.

Ohio Basement Authority installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors in one of my basement walls. I got three bids and chose this company for their cost and warranty. Everyone I talked to was great.
Jim Pierpoint was very friendly and explained everything to me. He was great. The crew foreman, Zach Wells, and his crew were top-notch, No. 1. They did an excellent job and were very friendly. I would give them the highest rating that is possible. Thanks guys, and I would recommend them any time.

"After having four local companies give us estimates for our cracked and..."
After having four local companies give us estimates for our cracked and bowing walls, I made one last call to the Ohio Basement Authority, based on several great online reviews. Out of the five companies I had look at our basement, Ohio Basement Authority was the best by far! From the beginning of the process, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the company - from the first phone call to set up the appointment, to the completion of the project. When John Becker Sr. came to inspect and assess our basement, he was the first to actually look at the basement as a whole, rather than just our "problem areas" that we had pointed out. After the assessment of our foundation, we sat down and he explained the issues that we have with our foundation - there were more than I thought - along with the possible fixes.I never once felt pressured to choose their company, or to purchase the most expensive fixes for our problems. After reviewing the options, they were able to save me almost $12,000 for the same repair that I was quoted by another company, and they offer 12-month financing that takes no time to sign up for. Before John left, we had a date scheduled for repairs and the financing was set up.This morning, Joe Stuber and his crew came to install our carbon fiber straps. From the time he and his crew arrived, they were very professional and explained exactly what was going to take place during the install. They made sure to protect the rest of our basement from dust during the carbon fiber install, and cleaned up the little mess that they made before leaving.I have been very happy with the entire process, and will definitely call them for future repairs!

"They were very polite and cleaned up the area nicely. They were very..."
I hadn't heard of Ohio Basement Authority until I saw the company on Angie's List. I chose to work with them because of the recommendation and price. The representative was prompt and knowledgeable, and the installation crew was polite and professional.I waited 6 months before commenting on this company to verify the stability of the work put in place, and so far so good. When they came out to see the job, they were the only one out of six companies that checked my foundation with a laser to see how bad and where the problem was.I would definitely have them back!

Great and professional company. The other company I talked to never followed up with me, and your system seemed reasonably priced and simple. They were polite and on time for both the estimate and installation. The salesman, Danny; foreman, Joe; and installer, Drew; were all very nice and respectful. Danny's presentation was good, and Joe called about an hour ahead the day before the installation.I had four Geo-Locks installed, and the process took about four hours. The crew was polite and kept the install and basement clean. Joe even sent me photo updates while I was at work.I would have the work done, again no questions asked.

They were on time, worked hard, and explained everything as they went along. They even finished ahead of schedule. It was a seamless process from the initial estimate, to financing, then the actual job completion. Big thanks to Rich, Jeremy, and Dave.

"We contracted Ohio Basement Authority to repair/stabilize our basement..."
We contracted Ohio Basement Authority to repair/stabilize our basement wall. They completed this work yesterday, to our complete satisfaction. Two young men did the work and were thorough, polite, and respectful. Rich Pomales was the foreman. When finished, our yard was as cleaned up as it possibly could be, and the basement was swept and left as it was before starting their work. They did a great job.

Comment: Basement wall is beginning to show horizontal cracks with some bowing. Also have orange spots and wall paint flaking.
Project Location: Lamar Drive, Athens, OH 45701
Comment: Ranch crawlspace with a garage on a concrete slab, foundation sinking/engineering oddities have led to cracks. We need someone to analyze work on the garage and get underneath the house, move ductwork and figure out what the problem is. Crawlspace entry is tiny, if necessary you can bring tools to make it wider. Need a rather quick turnaround on work if possible, have siding/window work scheduled for end of July. Thanks!
