Get your foundation issue taken care of now and prevent any further damage to your foundation or even the failure of the foundation walls. When houses are built in Ohio areas such as Cincinnati and Columbus, they are often constructed in expansive clay soils or poorly-compacted sediments. As these soils settle, expand, contract, or the foundation begins to shift, the foundation can be damaged. Symptoms of a damaged foundation can include tilting chimneys, cracks in the foundation, jamming doors, sticking windows, and an uneven floor. During rainstorms, larger foundation cracks can also allow water into the home, leading to a flooded basement.
It's wonderful to have some of the Foundation Supportworks network's best foundation repair specialists here in Ohio. But, then again, all the foundation repair specialists in the Foundation Supportworks Network is of the best in the country. From Cincinnati to Columbus, Dayton to Cleveland, you are in luck. Expansive soils and soils with poor load-bearing capacity can wreak havoc on a building foundation, as well as on chimneys, retaining walls, driveways, concrete patios and sidewalks. When these structural elements crack, settle and shift, a multitude of problems are likely to occur, such as water intrusion, safety hazards, cracked walls, and doors and windows that become inoperable. The Foundation SupportWorks network has the tools, materials and expertise to correct these structural problems quickly and affordably.

I noticed our ceramic floor had separated from the baseboard in the eat in nook in my kitchen. I had 9 estimates in all, 8 of those cost around $16,ooo and included tearing off my deck, digging a deep trench and packing mud underneath and hoping for the best. Ohio Basement Systems stated with confidence that the "slab Pier System" was the way to go and the cost was $5,900. The system involved drilling directly into the kitchen floor and hydraulically lifting the slab back into place.
Comment: The south side basement wall of our house, 30 feet wide has a bow to the inside, there is no water leakage what so ever.. I would guess the bow is less than one inch currently. It seems as though the unusually cold winter has created a new crack. I suspect the anchor system would be my preference for repair. Could you please provide a basic estimate. Thank You

Comment: Previous owners of our house put on an addition but they didn't put in a proper foundation. As a result, the back portion of our house is sinking and is causing g problems in other areas.

Comment: My house is on a raised crawlspace, and the floor is clearly slanting. The slant gets worse in the northern part of the house (worst part is in the kitchen), but the floor is not level in almost all the house to some degree. I am unsure where an access point is to the crawl space, as all wiring, gas lines, and water lines are in the walls.
