When houses are built in Ohio areas such as Cincinnati and Columbus, they are often constructed in expansive clay soils or poorly-compacted sediments. As these soils settle, expand, contract, or the foundation begins to shift, the foundation can be damaged. Symptoms of a damaged foundation can include tilting chimneys, cracks in the foundation, jamming doors, sticking windows, and an uneven floor. During rainstorms, larger foundation cracks can also allow water into the home, leading to a flooded basement.

The Foundation SupportWorks network has the tools, materials and expertise to correct these structural problems quickly and affordably.

"Other companies should be as courteous and thorough as the crew we had."
Chris is very very good at "working" things out on contract & we appreciate his diligence to keeping his word. Jason and his crew worked their butts off and did more than I expected. We're very pleased.

Brad & team worked around several problems including one major one as well as an uneven floor. They were also very adaptable after consulting with me after discovering the major problem. Only complaint I could make is that there is an inch gap along part of the wall where they had to compensate for the unevenness of the floor.

Comment: A home I am seriously considering buying is a split level with a garage as part of the foundation. there are cracks in two of the walls and I would like a professional to look at it for an estimate.
Comment: Our foundation is caving in; water and ice damage; floors bowing in, need fixed asap because our homeowner's ins just dropped us from the policy because we asked them to fix it. Now we are at risk of losing the house because we can't afford to fix this. It was damaged when we bought it in 2003.

Comment: My new house was built in 1901. The floor sags towards the middle of the house. I would like to make sure that there isn't anything to worry about and maybe put up some extra supports.
