Steve McDowell

Steve grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, but currently resides in Livermore with his wife of fifteen years, Wendy, their two kids, and their English Bulldog named Elvis. Prior to being part of our team, Steve built his experience doing work involving Public Speaking, Warehouse Management and as a Sales Consultant. Armed with the knowledge he has acquired, Steve brings a cheery optimism and determination to fix problems to the industry.

Steve did not stop there; since joining us at Foundation Repair of CA, he has taken extensive training sessions to earn the title of Structural and Concrete Specialist. Steve’s daily duties include conducting a full evaluation of a customer’s home to determine any current issues or problem areas, then creating a customized solution to solve the problems that the customer is troubled by.

The highlight of Steve’s work day, in his words, is “People. I enjoy the people I work with and the people I get to meet each and every day.” Steve has a heavy focus on the customer and their concerns. During his off hours, Steve spends his time with his family, being a professional vocalist and performing musician, and cooking authentic BBQ. These leisure activities are reasonable given that “watching people having a good time” is what makes Steve smile the most; it is no surprise he plays live music. If Steve ever gets the chance, he would like to visit Scotland, and trace his family name and heritage.
