During the inspection of the home's crawl space, the LRE Design Specialist discovered that the floor joists had significantly dropped due to a lack of stable support from below.
Without proper moisture regulation, the crawl space beneath this home suffered from water damage caused by rainstorms, which could lead to structural issues and mold growth.
Significant cracking had spread across the entire surface of the concrete lanai, prompting concerns for the homeowner.
Upon inspecting the crawl space, the LRE Design Specialist observed that many of the block piers supporting the wooden support joists above had settled into the soil below.
Upon inspection, the initial condition of the crawl space revealed significant moisture damage, accompanied by a strong odor resulting from mold and mildew.
The access to this crawlspace was manageable by our teams, even with it's small size.
The homeowner was alarmed by the cracking patterns along the interior walls of the garage, raising concerns about foundation issues.
Upon inspection, the Design Specialist immediately observed that the wooden floor joists in the crawl space were sagging under the weight of the appliances and furniture in the home.
