Sean Hawkes

Sean serves as our Director of Operations and brings a lifetime of construction experience to Atlanta Basement Systems. Born into a construction family, he spent much of his childhood on job sites working alongside relatives on projects ranging from remodeling to new construction. After serving 10 years in the U.S. Navy and an additional 10 years supporting Navy and Marine Corps combat teams, Sean decided to return to his roots in construction.

He began his foundation repair journey in 2015 in South Carolina with Cantey Foundation Specialists, a Basement Systems network partner, where he served as Production Manager. In 2021, his family relocated to the Atlanta area, where he spent a year in general contracting before joining Atlanta Basement Systems in early 2023 as Director of Operations. Sean has more than 10 years of professional experience in foundation repair and basement waterproofing.

Sean has an extensive background in training and coaching. During his military career, he became certified as a curriculum developer and training specialist. He is also a certified John Maxwell Coach and holds multiple network qualifications in production and service.

Sean left government contracting to pursue a more personal and direct impact on the customers he serves. He takes pride in watching the production team exceed customer expectations while helping homeowners protect their largest investment. He also enjoys seeing the company culture develop new hires into confident leaders.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and teenagers at their property in Waleska. He also loves cooking and barbecuing between home projects and sharing his food with friends and family.
