Darius Collins

Darius serves as our Human Resources Manager and Recruiter and has been with Atlanta Basement Systems for five years. His background uniquely positions him for this role, as he began his career in sales and previously worked as a System Design Specialist. This firsthand experience allows him to understand the full lifecycle of the business, from the initial customer conversation to execution in the field, and gives him the ability to relate to nearly every role within the company.

Through hands-on experience, Darius has been trained in sales systems, in-home inspections, customer psychology, and performance-based hiring. Having worked closely with leadership, inspectors, and production teams, he brings a practical, real-world lens to recruiting and HR. His ability to recognize the mindset, work ethic, and skill sets required for success enables him to make informed hiring decisions that support long-term growth.

What Darius enjoys most about his role is the impact. He takes pride in shaping the team and company culture by bringing in individuals who truly align with the work and standards of Atlanta Basement Systems. He values identifying potential, setting clear expectations, and watching team members succeed, knowing his decisions directly influence performance, morale, and the future of the company.

Outside of work, Darius enjoys staying active by playing basketball and watching sports. He also likes reading and playing chess to stay mentally sharp, and he embraces new experiences through travel, adventure, and meeting new people. Above all, he values spending quality time with his son, which keeps him grounded and motivated.
