Sealed Epoxy Floor Cracks
Due to the large volume of water and length of the system, we installed a new SuperSump in front of the property and ran new plumbing. In addition, we installed a new Zoeller M-98 Sump Pump in the existing large basin to help with the large capacity of water. We also ran a new 4 inch PVC lateral drain between the existing large sump pump basin and the replacement SuperSump to help alleviate more water pressure under the floor, and to help tie the sump basins together as a back up to each other. Applying a Wall Anchor Stabilization System can countreract the exterior pressure of a bowing wall, and can be periodically torqued from the interior of the home until it reaches 80 lbs of pressure.
Water pressure can push through the basement floor and cause flooding. A Lateral Drain will direct water to a sump pump and it will then be discharged away from the home.
Flangeless WaterGuard installation
In order to trap vapors, and control humidity levels, we installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier across the dirt crawlspace and up the exterior walls. Material were fastened mechanically at the top of the exterior walls and sealed with a urethane. We then installed an AprilAire Dehumidifier to regulate humidity levels throughout the crawlspace.
Commercial Crawlspace
In order to prevent moisture and dampness from coming through the vents, we sealed all three of the vents inside of the concrete crawlspace with 2 inch Silverglo foam panels. In order to prevent mold growth and damage to the house, we removed 29 feet of moldy fiberglass wall insulation, and disposed of the materials. After the insulation was removed we sprayed the foundation wall and floor, with Moldex, to neutralize any mold growth. Finally, the Silverglo two inch foam panels were installed, in order to re-insulate the foundation walls.
