Derek Fabian

Derek joined our team as a Service Technician in May 2026, bringing with him a well-rounded background that includes experience managing a food service team. He was drawn to American Waterworks for our strong company culture and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

In his role, Derek prepares materials for daily projects, diagnoses issues within customers’ systems, performs annual maintenance, and helps support the upkeep of more than 25,000 warranties. He is most excited about being out in the field, where he can educate homeowners and make a real difference.

Outside of work, Derek enjoys gaming, playing Dungeons & Dragons, cooking, and creating music. We’re excited to have him as part of the team!
