The work was done as part of annual service call when it was found batter backup sump-pump had to be replaced. It was somewhat expensive so tech said we could think about it. But if we hadn't taken care of it that day we would have paid for another service call. We were happy just to get it done. This is why we do the annual service so tech should just explain that if we don't want to get it repaired elsewhere, and he can take care of it then and there, it saves the service fee.
