Prior to joining our HomeSpec team, Rick spent five years working in construction and remodeling before running service plumbing for five additional years. His experience working as an apprentice plumber prepared him for his current position as our plumbing expert.

 

A typical day in his field involves the removal and reinstallation of plumbing fixtures and lines. Rick enjoys working for HomeSpec due to the positive work culture and dedication we have to quality work. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, video games, documentaries, and delicious food.

HomeSpec's crews needed access to the concrete block foundation under the carpet to install the IDS.
With both systems installed, the family was able to rest easy with the knowledge their basement was secure and dry.
Everlast Wall Restoration System was secured over the dry concrete. This waterproof material makes for a dry space and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The steel plate is secured against the foundation wall to prevent it from bowing or buckling any more than it already has. Waterproofing products fill in the gaps between the bricks that previously allowed water to leak inside.
HomeSpec installed a SmartJack® system throughout the crawl space to support the weight of the house for years to come.
After the SmartJack® support posts are even they are secured to the floor and then covered with concrete. This fresh concrete is level with the rest of the foundation floor to avoid trip hazards and make finishing the floors an option.
