The old bulkhead had been allowing water to collect on the floor in the basement.
The WaterGuard perimeter drainage system was installed along the entire border of the foundation. This ensures that water is captured from all angles of the wet soil surrounding the basement. It is laid on top of crushed stone to create a sturdy base and prevent clogging. Once installed, the system is cemented in place.
WaterGuard is fitted around the full perimeter of the foundation. The concrete was removed, debris cleared away, and the WaterGuard system was installed amidst crushed stone.
The sump pump system that the homeowner previously had installed was unable to pump water out of the home, causing leaks and puddling.
The area between the kitchen and dining area had sunk due to a broken support beam.
