The old sump pump was unable to keep up with the amount of water entering the basement, leaving it vulnerable during heavy rains and storms. Sick of the cleanup process, the homeowner sought out a dependable and long-term solution.

The basement had water entering the basement from the bulkhead.
Water was entering the crawlspace and the homeowners wanted to find a solution.
The team needed to demolish the lower section of drywall prior to the WaterGuard installation. After its removal, they chipped away the concrete to create room for the system. WaterGuard was then surrounded by crushed stone to facilitate correct water flow towards the sump basin and subsequently cemented into position.
Moisture in the crawl space caused the insulation to become saturated and subsequently detach. This created an environment conducive to mold growth and posed risks for structural issues such as wood rot.
IceGuard plumbing is structured to prevent freezing inside of the pipes. This helps prevent pipes from clogging.
Before we started work on the project, the crawl space was damp and musty. This caused the insulation to absorb moisture and fall, ultimately leaving the home vulnerable to energy inefficiency and cold floors. Excessive moisture can also subject the crawl space to mold growth, wood rot, and musty odors throughout the home.
