In this photo you can see some of the rigid foam insulation was failing.
Our team removed the debris and fibreglass insulation. We determined the areas where steel jacks were necessary to properly support the home above. We completely encapsulated the crawl space with our heavy duty liner after improving the drainage below. Our team finished off the job by sealing the new barrier with spray foam insulation.
You can see the ceiling joists have pink fiberglass insulation- not ideal. The roof deck has mould all over the wood. This is actually very common to see!
This dirt crawl space is too hot, too cold, too inefficient...just wrong! Let's get to work.
The sump pump system installed by the builder was open, allowing potential debris in the pit and allowing unwanted moisture in the home. 
The lid is not airtight, the water back-up doesn't have its own discharge line and there's only one exit path for the water.
The floor has been encapsulated with our CleanSpace. Mechanically fastened to the walls, spray foam can now be safely applied.
This home had a very tight crawl space with several problems. The plastic barrier was ineffectual at maintaining a proper humidity level in the crawl space.
