As the founder and president of Omni Basement Systems, Pete oversees every part of company operations. After spending several years in both the construction and software business, Pete was ready for a change and in 2003 started Omni Basement Systems from his home. Pete went on to complete comprehensive training at the Basement Systems head office in Seymour, Connecticut. He has also studied structural foundation repair at Foundation Support Works in Omaha, NE, and wall reinforcing at Nationwide Reinforcing in Columbus, OH.
In the early stages of the business Pete did it all: he was the salesman, installer, and service department. This has made him a hands-on owner who understands every facet of his business inside out. Over the past 20 years, Pete has personally installed over a thousand basement waterproofing systems and has consulted with over 10,000 customers. Despite the company's humble beginnings, in 2010 Omni Basement Systems became the largest Basement Systems dealer in Canada.
Pete takes personal responsibility for customer satisfaction on every job and insists on the same values for each and every member of the Omni Basement Systems team. His personal philosophy is to do whatever it takes to "help customers have what they want and need and see to it that they are satisfied!"

Owner Pete spent over two hours with my wife and me (i) discussing what needed to be done, following the removal of the mold, in order to protect our home in future and (ii) providing a fixed-price quotation for the work, which we found more than acceptable. The crew (Kevin, Trevor, Justin, and Dustin) did a great job installing the company's WaterGuard drainage channel and CleanSpace wall cladding. -

I'm very glad I didn't pick them and chose Omni. Phil, Pete, Jocelyn, Dustin and Daniel all did a great job and were a pleasure to deal with. The installation was stellar! Dustin and Daniel did an amazing job and were very professional, efficient and friendly. They are a great installation crew, for sure. All in all a great experience and a great guarantee.
