Overview of our client's pump system that has stopped working.
Our client's basement had some water under the concrete slab. This has made the basement damp.
Here is what a SmartJack looks like after installation. It helps support the crawl space structure.
Moisture and water seeped had through this crack. Our client had to rip off her whole carpet because it was wet. In order to finish her basement, she will have to seal this crack to prevent any future water infiltration.
Here is an overview of our client's crawl space before work. No insulation.
You can see there on the right side of the window that there is a big crack. Not only it can let in water, but it is also a sign that it may have sagging foundation.
The floor sags when the support pillars are not properly placed and the weight of the house is not evenly distributed. The beam makes a "banana" shape
