My name is Shane Rankin and I was born and raised in the Fox Valley. Married to my amazing wife Rachel and father of 8 wonderful kiddos. If I’m not working, you can find me coaching baseball or watching my children in a variety of sports such as baseball, football, basketball, dance and cheer. I also really enjoy traveling with my wife and exploring nature. My past experiences, pouring concrete and real estate, are a perfect combination to help my customers find the right solution for them.

A portion of the crawl space was dug out many years ago and more recently a portion of the house was demolished and rebuilt with a proper basement. But a portion of the dirt crawl space remained. Access to the space was difficult and we spoke to several contractors with many different ideas before we settled on Sure Dry. In only 3 weeks time, 2 guys removed 53 tons of material by hand in 5 gallon buckets and installed the corrugated steel and I beam wall supports. The dirt was up to the top of the cinder block walls pictured below. The new space looks fantastic! The Sure Dry team was very professional and kept us informed every day. We are only there on weekends so the daily photos they sent were very helpful. We are 100% pleased and can hardly believe what a great job they did on time and on budget! -

By Jeremy Y.Oshkosh, WII can't speak to the services and systems that Sure-Dry LLC provides, because I have not yet moved forward with starting a project with them, but I wanted to intentionally write a review to commend Sure-Dry, and specifically their specialist Shane R, for his integrity during my estimate appointment. About a month ago, another company I scheduled an appointment with called Erie Home Solutions sent a salesman to come look at my basement. My wife and I have been having some bowing in our basement walls and leaking. The salesman from this other company arrived in an expensive luxury car, did not bring any tools, did a brief inspection, then sat me down for about an hour long sales pitch that employed scare tactics, high pressure, quoted me $26,000 to do a drain tile system in our small 900 square foot basement, and then tried to get me to agree to signing for a project then and there.When Shane from Sure-Dry arrived, I was bracing myself for the same experience, but it could not have been more different. Shane was kind and genuine, and told me early on that he is not a salesman, and intended to give me all the information I needed in order to make the best decision. He spent an hour inspecting our basement with a full set of necessary tools and instruments. When he was done he showed me a number of observations of things that need to be addressed, but did not frame it as though I needed to be afraid about my house imminently collapsing. He even pointed out things that I can do myself, and explained how I could take small steps to improve the situation and improve the support system in my basement. At the end, he gave me a detailed report of what they could offer as solutions (which was about half as much as the other company quoted for just one component of their solution). He did not do a sales pitch, and he said that when I came to a point of decision, I could re-contact him and he could come give a detailed explanation of their systems so that I could get the discount that is offered during a sales pitch, but when I'm ready to move forward.Sure-Dry has made the right decision to not use high-pressure tactics to sell their product, because I trust that I'm getting a reasonable estimate and will likely move forward with them when my wife and I are ready. There was no pressure to buy, no hidden fees and Oscar and his crew did an excellent and speedy job with my basement. Any questions I had were answered immediately, and I was impressed by their check in and flood testing performed a week later to make sure everything was operating correctly. They are professional, they explain everything they are doing that day. They answered all my questions and did everything just how it was explained. It was nice to work with a competent company on this project. They filled the voids under the garage floor and ground down and sealed up the cracks. They also put a drain and water channel in outside the garage to divert the water causing the problem. -

Kudo's to Shane Rankin who did an excellent job describing the solution to my chronic water issue and Greg who supervised the installation of two double sump pits with a primary sump pump and a backup in each pit along with a battery backup for each. Greg did an excellent job of explaining how the new system operates. I am very pleased with the finished product.
