GeoLock Tightening Instructions

You can immediately begin enjoying the comfort of knowing your walls are stable, due to the installation of your Foundation Supportworks Wall Anchor System! Here are some important tips regarding your new system:

To attempt to straighten your wall, you may tighten your anchors every three to four weeks when the ground is dry and not frozen. Although not required, if you wish to tighten your anchors, the setting for the torque wrench should be as follows:

Block Wall80 lbs
Poured Wall90 lbs

Do not continue to tighten the anchors if the wall is straight, or if cracks appear. Anchors nearest to the corners do not need to be tightened as frequently. If you begin to see separation of the block in the corner, stop tightening the corner anchors.

Please refer to the back of your proposal for full warranty information. Positive drainage away from the exterior of the walls, routine cleaning of gutters, and extending of downspouts is required for the warranty to be in effect.

Have your anchors serviced annually. This service can be provided by your Foundation Supportworks dealer for a nominal fee, and includes:

  1. Removing the wall plates and re-sealing.
  2. Checking for proper torque.
  3. Checking and benchmarking wall movement.
  4. Checking for proper grade.
