A recent customer called in to have a sump pump installed in her crawlspace due to the amount of moisture. Leakage of groundwater merited the installation of SmartPipe, which is the first custom engineered drainage system for crawlspaces. After a heavy day or rain, this homeowner noticed that their crawl space was flooded. Despite the fact they had a sump pump, it clearly couldn't keep up. They knew they needed a better solution and fast, if they wanted to avoid mold, dust mites, and other home threats from a wet crawl space.

It also comes with removable, airtight lids to ensure that no water condensation escapes, yet it allows water in if there's a plumbing leak (with a floating ball in the drain creating a seal.)
