Customers call us all the time wanting to know more about our encapsulation service. Some people are interested because they want to save on their utility bills, some need it so that the air that they are breathing in their home is better for them. When you encapsulate your crawl space it is a total transformation. This customer in particular required a full encapsulation in order to keep his crawl space dry and moisture-free. 

We stabilized the sinking floors in this home using the SmartJack system. These galvanized steel supports are fully adjustable, providing immediate and long-term reinforcement. In many cases, they can even lift sagging floors back toward their original position.

Here is a GREAT example of what a nasty wet crawlspace can look like after we install our products. For this project specifically, Foundation and Crawl Space Repair of Alaska had to install a Smartpipe drainage system with a SmartSump to drain any water that entered through the foundation. Once that had been installed, we then went in with our Cleanspace product over the entire crawlspace. Cleanspace is sealed all the way around the perimeter of the foundation to ensure a dry and clean crawlspace for years to come.

A client called in wanting his floors releveled due to bowing. To permanently lift and stabilize the home's beams, we installed the SmartJack system which addresses weak foundation soil by transferring the weight of the home to heavy-duty steel columns.

In Willow Alaska, a homeowner desperately needed to repair the sinking foundation of her home. By calling Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, she was given a solution to stabilize her house. Our team installed Helical Piers to support the foundation using a standard bracket. They also installed Push Piers to support the foundation. The placement of SmartJacks and a supplemental beam will support the floor joist system above. The home is now secure and Foundation and Crawl Space Repair made another homeowner happy!
