After experiencing flooding in his crawl space, this homeowner decided to install a Sump Pump and a Vapor/Moisture Barrier (pictured here). The Vapor/Moisture Barrier will protect the crawl space like a raincoat and it will allow the rain water to travel into the sump pump where it will be discharged through a vent and into an existing downspout where it belongs.

The home was constructed in such a way that was fine for supporting the floors at the birth of the building, but not for an extended period of time.
