Before & After Photos

This before-and-after set shows part of a waterproofing and encapsulation project completed in San Diego, California. Before the repair, the interior space had exposed concrete and partially removed wall materials as the area was prepared for waterproofing. The completed photo shows the installed wall encapsulation system along with drainage and water-management components designed to help control moisture and direct water away from the interior space.

This type of waterproofing system helps create a cleaner, more protected environment while addressing water intrusion at its source rather than simply covering visible signs of moisture.

This before-and-after set shows another section of a San Diego waterproofing project. The before photo reveals the exposed concrete foundation walls during preparation, including visible areas where moisture had affected the wall surfaces. The after photo shows the foundation walls covered with a waterproofing and encapsulation system designed to help manage water intrusion and protect the interior space. A perimeter drainage system was also installed along the base of the walls to help collect and direct water away from the area.

This before-and-after set shows the transformation of a basement in San Diego, CA, where exposed foundation walls showed signs of previous moisture intrusion and deterioration. As part of the waterproofing project, the foundation walls were covered with a durable wall encapsulation system, while a perimeter drainage system was installed along the base of the walls to help capture and manage water intrusion. The finished system provides a cleaner, more protected space while helping control future moisture entering through the foundation walls.

Project Design Specialist Eamon R. did the evaluation for a home in Hacienda Heights and found that the moisture levels in the crawl space were through the roof. The humidity was peaking near 90% in the entire space. With humidity being so high, the wood readings were above 55% moisture. Have a high reading of humidity and moisture will not only cause the bad odor the family is experiencing, but it can also cause insect infestation, mold growth, and sagging floors. After Eamon’s inspection, he recommended that the home received the CleanSpace package. These photos show the before and after of the Cleanspace installation.
