Before & After Photos

The before photo shows a crawl space that was experiencing high levels of humidity which was causing a number of issues for the homeowner. The after photo shows our vapor barrier which will make the crawl space a clean, dry, energy-efficient part of the house. 

This crawl space in Laguna Beach, CA was suffering from excess moisture and exposed soil, creating a risk for mold, structural damage, and poor air quality. Saber Foundation Repair transformed the space with a full CleanSpace encapsulation system, sealing out humidity and preventing future water intrusion. The before photo shows a home in Big Bear that didn’t have a supported floor beam. Throughout the crawlspace, there were either missing posts or posts that did not support properly. Having beams that are not supported properly or not at all can cause the beam to sag. Which is a major inconvenience for the homeowners since the damage is very noticeable. They want to fix the problem as soon as possible because they are wanting to sell the home and the damage will scare away potential buyers. The after photo shows a great example of how a properly installed post with caps looks like. Posts like this were installed throughout the crawlspace in the correct areas and replacing any unsupported posts. Now the homeowners can begin preparing to sell their home without any concerns.

The after-photo shows how we solved this problem by installing a post with caps. Now the homeowner will not experience their past problems and have peace of mind. 

Project Design Specialist Eamon R. did the evaluation for a home in Hacienda Heights and found that the moisture levels in the crawl space were through the roof. The humidity was peaking near 90% in the entire space. With humidity being so high, the wood readings were above 55% moisture. Have a high reading of humidity and moisture will not only cause the bad odor the family is experiencing, but it can also cause insect infestation, mold growth, and sagging floors. After Eamon’s inspection, he recommended that the home received the CleanSpace package. These photos show the before and after of the Cleanspace installation.
