Today Dan Froehlich of Saber provided an evaluation of our home in San Diego. Dan spent over an hour and half with me.  He explained step by step what the possible causes and impact of a lengthy crack in a travertine floor.  The condition of the floor indicated, at least to me, a cracked foundation. Dan made a complete inspection and after taking measurements, informed me that I did not have an issue with the slab.  The cracks were likely due to problems with the floor installation. Dan is clearly a top pro.  He has ability and patience to effectively communicate with a layman.  He is a fine representative of a Saber, a company that highly values competence and honesty.
