This Hamden basement before photo is a great example of how unwanted water can cause an area to look terrible and unwelcoming. The homeowner did not appreciate the water that was making his valuable basement unusable. He wanted a solution to keep his basement dry all year around and decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call! 

On the day of the appointment, our System Design Specialist, Rick Raucci, arrived at the home to give the homeowner a free home evaluation. He concluded that a WaterGuard System paired with a TripleSafe Sump Pump would be the perfect solution for all of the homeowner’s concerns. The homeowner agreed and with no time to waste, Cisco Berrios and his production team started on the installation process.

The WaterGuard System is installed around the perimeter of the basement walls back filled with gravel. Once installed, it is paved over with cement, as seen in the after photo. This system will channel the water internally and lead it to the sump pump. The homeowner decided to install a TripleSafe Sump Pump to direct the water away from the house. With the combination of these two products, the basement should not experience any more floods. 

The homeowner is extremely happy with his waterproofed basement and can now utilize the open space efficiently!

They installed a WaterGuard System and TripleSafe sump pump in order to keep the water out of the basement. To prevent incidents like the one in the before photo, we installed TrenchDrains where needed. One was installed in front of the stairs to ensure that water does not pile up and is properly drained. 

Now, the homeowner enjoys a dry basement and could not be happier!

This space wasn’t used to its full ability due to the lack of comfortbility, and the excess of moisture and mold. This family wanted to take advantage of the great space they have.  With a total basement finishng system this home would be transformed to what the homeowners can utilizie.

Foreman, Erik Dobrzycki was able to give these homeowners the comfortability of a finished basement by installing everlast white wall panels that wont be damaged by moisture or mold. They also have a clean aethetic that is long-lasting. Dark walnut thermaldry elite flooring with linen ceilings gave a bright, rich-look. The homeowners can now enjoy the usable space while adding value to their home!

A Hamden homeowner was getting water seepage in their basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution. Our Salesman, Cary Benjamin, went to the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing system as the solution. 

Soon after, it will be time for one of our Foremen, Al, and his crew to install the proposed work. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement, to capture water seepage. Then, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to collect the water and safely pump it out of the home. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was also installed on the walls to protect and prevent moisture damage. 

Now, with our system in place, this entire basement will stay dry. This leaves the homeowner with nothing but great peace of mind.
