Crawl Space Transformation in East Hampton, CT
This crawlspace in East Hampton had an evident water and moisture issue that would directly affect the home's living spaces. The homeowner wanted a solution and decided to make an appointment with Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution for this crawl space was to install SilverGlo wall panels, rim joist insulation, CleanSpace liner and a SaniDry. All of these products combined make a clean and energy efficient crawlspace. The SilverGlo properly insulates the area to prevent any air or moisture from entering in. The CleanSpace liner will prevent any moisture to come through the floors as well as provide a durable solution to a hard, cold floor. In order to seal everything in, the rim joists were insulated with Spray Foam. And lastly, in order to keep humidity low and create a healthier environment, a SaniDry dehumidifier was installed. Just look at the transformation! The area is now a more energy efficient area!
SuperSump Pump Installed in Vernon Rockville, CT
When we arrived in this basement, we found that the existing sump pump was old and ineffective. Without a cover, dirt and debris fell into the basin and clogged the pump. In its place, we installed our SuperSump sump pump. It includes an airtight lid to keep odors and humidity out of the room, while protecting your sump from debris from the basement floor. Rubber grommets around all pipes and wires help maintain the airtight lid and also help to keep all PVC pipes steady and quiet. Additionally, The SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The owners of this home never have to worry about basement flooding again!

Basement Waterproofing in Vernon Rockville, CT
A homeowner in Vernon Rockville, CT had a damp, wet basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Mark Krasnickas, went to the home to assess the basement and propose a waterproofing solution.
Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Marcial Lopez, and his crew to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the perimeter to capture water seepage. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. DryTrak and Half Wall Restoration in Marlborough, CT
Before, this Marlborough basement had a water issue that would make the finished area unwelcoming with damp carpet and a musty odor. The homeowner wanted her finished basement to be usable and practical. After doing some research, she decided to contact the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution.
The solution for this basement was to install DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe System. This system was necessary in this basement because it had monolithic flooring. We epoxy the drain pipe directly to the floor, leaving a slight opening along the top to collect water leaking in from the walls. Therefore, the basement is waterproofed without jackhammering! Half wall restoration was also performed to fix the damage that was caused by the water. The homeowner also decided to get rid of the original carpet and install ThermalDry Flooring to give the area a completed look. As you can see in the after photo, the basement was transformed to a dry and more comfortable area which is exactly what the homeowner had wanted!
