ThermalDry and EverLast Transformation in Mount Vernon, NY
Before, this Mount Vernon, NY home was a drag with its poorly lit area and not very welcoming atmosphere. The homeowners wanted to transform their space into a welcoming, dry area for the whole family to enjoy. They saw our advertisement in the local newspaper and decided to give us a call for a free, no obligation estimate. They were impressed by our products and decided to move forward with the transformation.
Now, the area is completely transformed to a bright and welcoming space, thanks to the patented products that Total Basement Finishing has to offer. ThermalDry Elite dark walnut flooring was installed which is a glow up from the previous outdated tile. The benefit of the ThermalDry flooring (besides its beauty) is that it is designed to prevent any moisture from seeping through and it is also up to 10 degrees warmer than traditional basement flooring! The walls were also transformed with our EverLast wall panels. These durable panels are also moisture resistant and add a welcoming feel to the area. Two SaniDry Sedonas were also installed to ensure that the humidity stays below 55%. The entire installation was done by our Total Basement Finishing Foreman, Mike Towle, who sure does have a keen craftsman skill.
The homeowners are completely thrilled with their basement’s beauty and the added value their home now obtains.

The entire was also outdated and the homeowners wanted a transformation. They decided to trust the experts at Total Basement Finishing to transform their basement to beautiful.
With the transformation, EverLast wall panels were installed to insulate the area and to prevent any unwanted air or moisture to flow through. Basement Transformation in Scarsdale, NY
This Scarsdale, NY basement had cold concrete floors and a small staircase that had been scuffed and weathered over time. Together, they gave the room dark, uninviting look that the homeowner had grown tired of. He wanted a more comfortable and appealing basement, so he reached out to the experts at Total Basement Finishing for help.
Soon, Sales Representative Ralph Cioffi traveled to the home to have a look at the basement. He quickly evaluated the space before talking to the homeowner about some potential finishing solutions. As they talked, the homeowner agreed with Ralph's observvations and decided to move forward with the project.
On the first day of production, veteran Basement Finishing Foreman Sheldon Lennon arrived to begin the basement transformation. He started by replacing the small set of stairs. The new set was much lighter in color and contributed to brightening up the basement. Then he installed new ThermalDryFlooring and EverLast Walls. ThermalDry comes with a built-in thermal block to keep floors up to 10 degrees warmer than the concrete below, and EverLast Walls are far more durable than traditional dry wall. When Sheldon finished his work, the homeowner could not believe the difference that it had made. His basement was much brighter and the aesthetic appeal of the space had greatly improved. He could not wait to enjoy this new space with his friends and family for years to come.
