A homeowner in Bristol, CT was looking to have their basement finished so they decided to call our Total Basement Finishing team at Connecticut Basement Systems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants Brad Glazer, went to the home to meet with the homeowner to understand what they wanted and come up with a design plan. Once that was completed, it would go over to one of the Project Managers, Dan Medina, who would approve it and add any finishing touches to the plan. 

Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Sheldon Lennon, to begin this project. He installed an EverLast perimeter wall system that has built-in insulation and is made of inorganic material so it can be damaged by moisture or mold. He also installed ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring to keep the floors up to 10 degrees warmer. New doors and ceilings were installed, tying the whole basement together. Now this homeowner is left with a beautiful space that they can enjoy forever! 

A homeowner in Bristol, CT wanted to make a change to his floor. Not thrilled with the look of his old laminate tile flooring, he wanted to make a change to something more appealing. Reaching out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Mick Foster. Foster listened attentively to the homeowner's desires, then suggested ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring. With a variety of different styles, Elite Plank Flooring mimics the look of wood, without the possibility of growing mold, rotting, or buckling. Additionally, it can make a floor up to 10 degrees warmer by creating a thermal break; an important aspect to the customer's decision!

With the proposal approved, Foreman Jahroume Gardener arrived on-site with his team to begin the install process. Removing the old laminate tiling and replacing it with Dark Walnut Elite Plank Flooring improved the look of the space!

Before, this West Haven basement would get unwanted water seeping through the area. This homeowner was greatly frustrated because he used his basement as a place to relax and enjoy. He wanted to waterproof the area so this would not become a problem anymore. After doing much research, he decided to trust the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.

To ensure that water would not enter the basement anymore, a WaterGuard system was installed paired with a TripleSafe sump pump system. The WaterGuard is a below the floor system that collects water internally and channels it to the TripleSafe sump pump. From the TripleSafe, the water is discharged away from the home. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to keep humidity low which will increase the quality of air. There was water damage on the walls that was attracting mold and was not appealing. To solve this problem, we installed a half wall restoration system to the walls, essentially removing the bottom water damaged wall and replacing with our EverLast paneling which will prevent mold. ThermalDry Charcoal Carpet was also installed to give the basement a finished look. The homeowner is now extremely satisfied with his dry and healthier basement!
