We transformed this old, drafty, wet crawlspace into a neat, dry storage space using CleanSpace liner and SilverGlo insulation. 

Water was seeping into this crawlspace until our team came in and installed the CleanSpace liner, which acts as a vapor barrier and prevents water from entering the home.

A homeowner in Greenwich, CT expressed an interest in protecting his crawlspace from moisture. Frustrated with previous vapor barriers being inadequate in securing his crawlspace, he decided to reach out to the experts at Connecticut Basement System for assistance.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Mark Krasnickas. Krasnickas offered a free in-home consultation, providing the homeowner with suggestions for improving the space. Drafting a proposal, Krasnickas suggested our CleanSpace system, a durable, mold-resistant, moisture preventing vapor barrier. 

With the final proposal accepted on behalf of the homeowner, Foreman Noel Harvey and team arrived on-site. Following a quick install, the space was transformed into an encapsulated space, protected against mold, moisture, and pests!

Then, for proper insulation, our SilverGlo and RimJoist products were put in. 

Now this crawlspace is moisture and musty-odor-free, while also being completely insulated. The homeowner is left with great peace of mind. 

This crawlspace was damp and dirty before we encapsulated it with the CleanSpace vapor barrier. The vapor barrier is an effective solution to keeping the crawl space dry because it prevents moisture from passing through the floors and concrete walls of traditional crawl space structures, and has the added benefit of flexibility to cover irregular crawlspaces.
