Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement to collect any water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump which takes that water and pumps it out of the home at a safe distance. Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture and mold growth. CleanSpace vapor barrier was put on the walls to direct any water into the drains below. One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and Jacob Scott will work on the installation of this job. They installed 19 SmartJacks throughout this basement to stabilize and support the entire home. They had to install 74 feet of supplemental beam to properly install the SmartJacks. These SmartJacks get tightened to a certain pressure until they are stabilizing and supporting the floor joists above. Over time, our crew will come out and tighten them even more so that the floors will no longer sag. Once everything was installed, the homeowner instantly had peace of mind knowing their floors and home were stabilized permanently and was already visibly seeing results on the floor.
