A homeowner in Torrington, CT expressed concerns regarding his basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture. In need of a solution, the homeowners reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems and made contact with Sales Representative Rick Searles for a free in-home consultation.

Following Searles's visit to the home, he provided a proposal for work, including solutions tailored to the homeowner's needs. Once the proposal was accepted, Foreman Marcio Bahiense and his team arrived on-site to begin work. Installing a TripleSafe sump pump system and WaterGuard around the perimeter provided ample protection against the homeowner's moisture concerns. Thrilled with the results, the homeowner now has a waterproofed, stress-free basement!

Our team performed the electric, plumbing, and finishing of this basement in Stratford CT. The walls were done with TBF's very-own patented Everlast Wall panels. TBF wall panels combine a vinyl-covered, hard cement board with high-density foam insulation to create an extremely water resistant basement wall panel.

This Stratford basement originally had unappealing, cold floors. Of all of the surfaces in your home, floors are the ones you come in most contact with. Not only were these floors an eye-sore, but this made the basement cold and unwelcoming. This homeowner wanted a flooring system in his basement that was waterproof, appealing and warm. Our Sales Representative, Brad Glazer proposed that the homeowner should install ThermalDry Carpet. This product is stain resistant, does not support mold or mildew, and will keep a floor dry and warm all year long. With approval from the homeowner, Sid Avis and his production team installed the ThermalDry Carpet efficiently and professionally. They even mix and matched two different carpet styles to create this checkered look for added appeal.

A homeowner in Stratford, CT was getting water seeping into their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us waterproof their basement completely. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin, went out to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution without waterproofing systems to keep their basement dry all the time. 

Soon after the proposal was accepted, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew would tackle the installation of this project. They installed our WaterGuard drain system below the perimeter of the floor. This collects water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed one of our most reliable and strongest pumps, the TripleSafe. This will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. They also installed a half wall of CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect from moisture and to lead any water coming in from the walls into the WaterGuard. Now this basement will stay dry all the time. 

In this basement we installed our CleanSpace wall liner. We also replaced the windows with Everlast windows, which are more energy efficent then the old ones.
