A homeowner in West Haven, CT, was struggling with constant basement water seepage and turned to us at Connecticut Basement Systems for a lasting solution. One of our Sales Consultant, Dean Artusa, assessed the situation and developed a thorough plan.

One of our Foreman, Garfield Sanderson, and his team started by installing the WaterGuard drainage system along the basement perimeter to capture water from the floors and walls, channeling it to the sump liner. They also set up the SuperSump Plus sump pump system, which can pump 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head, ensuring effective water removal. To enhance protection, the team added the CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls, preventing moisture infiltration and directing water into the WaterGuard system.

These solutions work together to keep the basement dry, providing the homeowner with peace of mind.

A West Haven, CT homeowner was getting a lot of water seepage in their basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our Salesmen, Rob Brockenberry, visited the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing solutions. 

Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Al, and his crew to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the perimeter to capture water seepage. Then they installed a 1/2 wall of our CleanSpace vapor barrier to help lead water from the walls into the drains below. Lastly, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. 

Now, the homeowner is happy and can live with peace of mind because their basement will stay dry from now on! 

This basement was taking on water. We installed a Waterguard and SuperSump Pump system to remove that water. Then we put in a Sanidry air purifier dehumidifier to keep the air dry and comfortable. On the outside of the house we installed a Iceguard to prevent water backup incase of pipe freezing during winter.

A homeowner in Winsted, CT was looking for a solution to the sagging floors above their basement. We sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Gus Stozinc, to write a proposal and inform them they would need our SmartJack system. Once this was done, it would eventually be time for one of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and his team to install this job. 

This basement needed 10 SmartJacks throughout to ensure stability and levelness to the floor and joists above. Supplemental beams were installed so that the SmartJacks had stronger support under which to install. Once each SmartJack was put in place, they were tightened to obtain the desired stabilization. Now this homeowner no longer needs to worry about their sagging floors! 

Before, this Prospect home had a wet basement due to an insufficient sump pump. The walls of the basement were also dreary and it made it even more unpleasant to walk downstairs in addition to the water. The homeowners knew they wanted a solution so they contacted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems. 

The solution for this basement was to install our TripleSafe sump pump. This is our best sump pump option because it has 3 pumps to handle any amount of water that would otherwise enter the basement. This is paired with our full perimeter WaterGuard system that will collect and channel water to the Triple Safe for proper discharge. This system will waterproof the basement. To solve the basement wall problem, BrightWall panels were installed. This paneling is durable and is also waterproof and mold resistant. With these panels installed, the entire basement is more welcoming, which is exactly what the homeowners wanted. They were very pleased with all the products and how well they worked together for a waterproof basement.
