A homeowner located in Milford, CT called us at Connecticut Basement Systems after they were getting water in their basement after heavy rains. We sent one of our Sales Consultants, Alex Lopez to the home to assess all the issues, and propose a permanent waterproofing solution. 

One of our Foremen, Vic Varela, and his crew would install this job! They installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the entire perimeter, below the floor to capture the water seeping in. Then, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to discharge that water out of the home safely. Our Sedona dehumidifier was installed as well to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth throughout the entire basement. CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed along the walls to protect from moisture as well. Overall, with our top-of-the-line waterproofing products, this basement will stay dry all the time! 

Before, this New Hartford basement had a lot of water and moisture problems. This frustrated the homeowners and they wanted to find a solution. They decided to reach out to the experts to help find a permanent solution.  

Now, the basement is waterproofed thanks to our patented WaterGuard product. This below the ground system internally collects water and channels it to a sump pump system. From there, the water is discharged away from the home. The walls of this basement were also seeping water and to solve this problem, CleanSpace liner was installed (as you can see in the after photo). Any water that would seep through the wall will be directed to the WaterGuard system. To keep humidity low in the area and to obtain an overall healthier environment, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed. Now, the homeowner is satisfied with a dry and comfortable basement! 

A homeowner in New Hartford, CT was getting water in their basement and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us fix their water problems. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Mick Foster, went out to the home to meet with the customer. He assessed the issues they were having and provided them with an estimate for a solution. 

The next step would be for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his team to work on the installation of this job. They installed our perimeter WaterGuard drain system. This gets installed below the floor and then covered with concrete to ensure that any water coming in from the walls or floors gets collected. Then they installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump into the lowest point in the basement. This will take any water collected from the WaterGuard and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They also installed a partial wall of CleanSpace vapor barrier. Now this basement will stay dry whenever it rains. 

In this basement we installed Waterguard as well as a SuperSump pump to prevent any further flooding. On the outside of the house we added Iceguard to prevent water backing up into the house when the pipes freeze.

This home in Orange CT had an unfinished basement. The entire basement was completely finished, including the pictured Pine Stairs and Gray Elite Plank Flooring.
