Repairing the Structure of Frankford, DE Home

This homeowner gave us a call because they had some concerns with the structural integrity of their home. They are looking to move into this home full time and want to ensure all structural issues are addressed. Pilot town engineering also came out to take a look per the request of the homeowner and provide their recommendations.

While we were taking a look, we noticed the crawlspace was encapsulated by another company. We also noticed water stains on their product which we brought to the homeowners attention. While looking at the structure of the area, we noticed most of the piers were separated from the girder, pilot town recommended the installation of metal shims. Some of the piers look to be leaning, so we will need to correct those as well.

Ultimately, we installed our smartjacks support system, a supplemental beam/girder and floor joists to correct the structure issues. To address the water issues, we installed a smartsump system, ice guard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines, lawnscape at the end of the discharge line and cleanspace with drainage matting to encapsulate the area.

Repairing sagging and bouncy floors Berlin, MD

The homeowner reached out to us because they were tired of dealing with their sagging and bouncy floors. Their biggest concern was not only the floors caving in, but eventually the collapse of the foundation/home. After inspecting the area above and beneath the floors, we recommended a permanent fix. This included smartjack supports and installation of a supplemental beam to ensure the floor would not only be level and supported for the foreseeable future, but to give the homeowner peace of mind about the stability of their floors/home.

Repairing Wall Cracks in Berlin, MD Crawlspace

The Homeowner was in their crawlspace and noticed a few cracks in the wall. Thankfully none of them were leaking and no water has made its way into the crawlspace/floor area. They gave us a call to come take a look to see what we could do to help give them peace of mind before something were to happen. After taking a look, we realized we could fix the problem using our Flexispan crack repair system.

Flexispan is a three-part process that begins with the application of a flexible sealant. we then apply a strip of porous foam over the crack. Lastly, an impermeable membrane is applied to the wall on both sides of the foam strip. This solution allows any future seepage of water move down the wall and into the basements perimeter drainage system without been seen.
