Gary Lawson

Family: Married to Lydia, Has 4 grown children: Rodney, April, David & Heather, Gary has 6 granddaughters and 1 grandson.

Hobbies: Gary enjoys fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and relaxing by the pool.


Gary's Story: With over 30 years in the water well business, Gary & his son in law, Bill, founded DryZone in Milton, Delaware.

Gary was born and raised in the town of Milton by his father and grandmother. Being raised by his father, he followed behind him very closely. Gary had always tinkered in his dads metal shop taking anything he could apart and putting it back together. Gary's father, Bill, was an inventor in his own rights. Bill held many patents on machines. Gary along side his father built machines that made his manufacturing company, National Screen, thrive. National Screen manufactured filtration products that are used in water well, petroleum, and environmental applications.

Gary married Lydia, 20 years after they dated in high school. He always says she broke up with him because he tried to put his hand on her knee. After they both had a previous marriage and 2 children each, they brought their families together. They will be celebrating their 25 year anniversary in April of 2011.

In February of 2006, Gary took his knowledge of water filtration along with his son in laws crawlspace experience and began DryZone. DryZone became part of the Basement System Network with CleanSpace in April of 2006. In DryZone's first year of business, they made their mark within the network. DryZone received Rookie of the Year and #8 CleanSpace Installer. DryZone is a Certified Basement System Deluxe Dealer. By becoming a deluxe dealer DryZone gives their homeowners peace of mind with a 25 year warranty backed by Basement Systems. Since DryZone's inception they have exceeded all expectations.

They are now aiming higher. In April 2010, DryZone became a Total Basement Finishing Dealer. With this goal reached, DryZone is now completely, Your Source For Crawlspace, Basement and Foundation Repair.

With Gary's determination and will, DryZone can do nothing but succeed in protecting every home on the Eastern Shore from high humidity, water & settlement.
