Void Fill and Driveway Sealed in North Port, FL

Karen W. from North Port, Florida, noticed large holes under her driveway and became concerned about its stability. She decided to call LRE Foundation Repair after receiving a recommendation from a friend. LRE inspected the property and found that the slope of the driveway and washed-out soils had caused erosion and voids. To fix the issue, LRE designed a custom solution that involved using PolyLevel injection and NexusPro application. PolyLevel is an expandable, polymer foam material that was injected at various points in the concrete drive. The material flows smoothly through the loose soils and large voids, expanding enough to solidify and compact the soils while filling the voids and lifting areas of the concrete that needed it. The next step was applying NexusPro, a silicone-based concrete sealer that was used to fill all cracks and create a smooth finish. NexusPro cures quickly and protects the area from future damage from the elements. After completing the project, the homeowner was relieved that she no longer had to worry about her driveway's stability.

Cracked Concrete Lifted and Leveled in North Port, Florida

LRE Foundation Repair received a call from Patricia S. in North Port, Florida, who was facing a serious problem. Her concrete driveway had severe cracking and had sunken inches deep, which posed a risk for accidents. She wanted the driveway to be fixed immediately. To address the washed-out soil conditions and permanently stabilize the driveway, LRE used a combination of products. First, PolyLevel, a product that lifts, levels, and stabilizes the affected area, was used. The expanding foam material reacts on contact and cures in less than 30 minutes. Then, to seal and protect all cracks from future damage, NexusPro, a silicone-based concrete sealant, was used. The homeowner was extremely pleased now that the hazard had been eliminated.

Concrete Porch Repair in Rotonda West, Florida

Penny became concerned about the condition of the concrete on her front porch at her winter home in Rotonda West, Florida, after noticing numerous cracks forming across the surface. She reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, and our Customer Care team promptly scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists.

During the evaluation, our specialist determined that soil settlement beneath the porch had caused the concrete to crack. To provide a lasting solution, we recommended our Two-Part Concrete Protection System—designed to both repair the cracks and stabilize the underlying soil to prevent future sinking.

With Penny’s approval, our team got to work. First, we injected PolyLevel beneath the porch to lift and stabilize the concrete. Then, we sealed the cracks with NexusPro to prevent water infiltration and further soil movement. Now, Penny’s concrete is fully repaired and protected, giving her peace of mind that her winter home’s porch is stable and secure year-round.

Trip Hazard Leveled in Davenport, FL

Farag A. had several large cracks in his driveway in Davenport, Florida, and was concerned about the safety of himself and his wife. So, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair to evaluate the damage and eliminate the trip hazards for good. After an inspection, LRE determined that the concrete slab had settled due to loose and shifting soils. They came up with a solution using PolyLevel, which is an expanding polyurethane foam material. This material was injected through small holes drilled into the concrete slab. As the material expanded beneath the surface of the driveway, it lifted the concrete back into place and closed the gaps that caused a potential risk. The homeowner was more than satisfied with the results of the project and had peace of mind knowing that he and his wife were safe from tripping hazards.
