After a thorough inspection, the experts told the homeowners that the foundation supports had settled over time. The inspector recommended installing a combination of SmartJacks and supplemental PowerBrace beams to solve their problems. SmartJacks can support loads up to 60,000-pounds, and are custom cut to size. The steel SmartJack’s and beams were installed under the joists in the crawl space, lifting the subfloor, alleviating the sagging and bouncing floors and closing the cracks that had appeared in her walls. The homeowners were very happy!
