Our inspector recommended a dehumidifier to lower the humidity in the crawlspace, along with drainage matting to protect the area from ground moisture. The homeowner decided to move forward with the project and was very happy with the results.

At a Mount Pleasant, SC home, the homeowner was experiencing pooling water in their crawl space during wet times of the year. Falling insulation can cause other problems besides cluttering up your crawl space. In these pictures you can see that the insulation actually pulled down a junction box creating a fire and electrical hazard. Also note the white powder on the joists. Yep you guessed it, that's mold! We were able to correct the problems through insulation removal and the installation of a CleanSpace System.
