Karen R. of Savannah, GA bought a home a year ago; however there was a moisture problem in the crawl space that caused buckling in the floors. Karen said she was also worried about mold. She called  Lowcountry Foundation Repair for help.

Lowcountry Foundation Repair installed a Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System to remove moisture from the crawl space and reduce humidity in the crawl space. After the project was complete, the drier crawl space environment prevented microbial growth. Karen was happy to prevent problems in her crawl space.

Before encapsulating the floor with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, drainage matting was installed throughout the floor to prevent moisture build up. The dimples on the matting creates an easy drainage path for water to drain to the sump system for easy removal. 

Eric F. wanted to sell his Savannah, GA home. He purchased it with the intent to flip it, but was notified by a home inspector of foundation issues in his crawl space. The project would require adjustable galvanized steel support piers called SmartJacks, to support the sinking area in Eric’s foundation as well as supplemental PowerBrace beams to further stabilize the subfloors of the house. Eric had the work done and was thrilled with the results. The house was ready to list!
