A Summerville, SC homeowner had a problem with crawl space moisture. With our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, we encapsulated the space and prevented moisture from penetrating through the walls and up from the dirt floor.

The owner of this home checked their crawl space after buying the home and noticed the existing vapor barrier in the crawl space was "sub-par, and the moisture and mold issues continue to persist". Our complete encapsulation system appealed to the homeowner, as it would block out both ground and air moisture while monitoring and controlling the residual moisture level as well to a safe 55% humidity.

This home in Revenel, SC needed protection from moisture in the crawl space. There was an existing vapor barrier, but it was old, dirty, torn, and not sealed to the walls and joists. Our inspector recommended having a CleanSpace Encapsulation System installed to completely protect the crawl space from harmful levels of moisture and humidity. In this case, the homeowner decided that with current available finances that they would have a layer of drainage matting installed to aid drainage of pooling water, and a SaniDry Sedona to monitor the humidity level in the crawl space, pulling moisture out of the air to hold a safe 55% humidity level.

Later on, once finances are available, the homeowner is planning on having the rest of the complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System installed, including the sealed vapor barrier, a powerful sump pump, and Foamax wall barrier insulation, turning the crawlspace into essentially another conditioned room with healthy, breathable air.
