This homeowner in Sylvania, GA noticed uneven floors in their home. They called Lowcountry Foundation Repair for a free inspection and customized quote to fix the issue. This homeowner called Lowcountry Foundation Repair when they noticed the floors of their home were unlevel. Lowcountry sent out an inspector to thoroughly look over the property for free. They recommended SmartJacks in the crawlspace to help even out the floors in the low areas. The homeowner moved forward with having the project done and the Lowcountry team installed and adjusted PowerBrace Supplemental Beams for evenly distributing support along all of the joists in a section of the floor. This Baptist Church was having foundation issues such as cracks appearing around windows and in the back rooms where Sunday school was held. After calling us at Lowcountry Foundation Repair, our team came and installed a push pier system to relevel the foundation and stabilize it.

This home in Jesup, GA had a prior powderpost beetle infestation that left the floor of the home weak and sagging. There were large gaps growing in between the base of the wall and the floor from sagging. The wood was repaired with new treated wood and our team installed the SmartJack Support System to lift and stabilize the new floor into place. Our inspector recommended also considering a CleanSpace Encapsulation later on to control the moisture levels in the crawl space, preventing mold growth and deterring the interest of powderpost beetles.
