This home, built in 1937, developed uneven floor framing due to the use of poor construction materials. There simply wasn't enough support to ensure that the floors would remain properly supported for many more years to come. To solve this problem, we installed our SmartJack© system. It lifts and stabilizes existing beams and floor joists in the crawl space, thanks to a solid base of engineered fill. This fill addresses the problem of weak foundation soil by transferring the weight of the home to competent strata. Lastly, its heavy-duty, threaded rods allow for adjustment and a custom fit for every SmartJack© system installed, which are warrantied for 25 years. Before remodeling their home, the homeowners decided they needed to address the water problem in their crawl space. They encapsulated the crawl space with our heavy, 20 mil thick CleanSpace liner, which is over twice as thick as industry standard liners! We installed our interior, subfloor drainage system, WaterGuard, to protect this water-damaged crawl space walls by capturing water at its entry point and directing it to the new TripleSafe sump pump system.
