A basement wall was shifting in a Shipman, IL basement, causing concern to the homeowners. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. PowerBraces were installed along the bowing, cracking walls. The steel beams are fitted against the walls and held firmly in placed by steel brackets attached to the floor joists and cement floors of the basement.
