This house's foundation in Urbana, IL is failing due to its age. There were large cracks throughout the whole wall. Specialized GeoLock wall anchors were used, because of the extreme wall failure in this home. The cracks were filled with sealant, and will continue to be brought closer together as the wall realigns into its original position. 

A basement wall was failing in Urgana, as it was shifting and causing cracks to form. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!

A block wall in a crawlspace in Urbana, IL was bowing inward, causing cracks to appear between the blocks. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the wall and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening them back to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. This crawlspace will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Foreman Jeremy R Installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System, shown above, in JC’s basement. The device has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other will attach to the basement walls, shown above. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten out the walls.
