WaterGuard Installed in Lake Saint Louis, MO
Lake Saint Louis homeowner Eliana had water stains throughout her basement and was worried about what that meant for the well being of her basement. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and Team Woods developed a plan for her,
Foreman Greg and his crew installed the WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the home to collect the water the came in before it got onto the floor. Our clog-free design catches water from behind, below, and down the wall. The WtaerGuard then directs the water to the sump pump to be removed from the home. Our discharge lines run far enough away from the home to stop more problems from occurring.
Eliana now has a clean, dry basement she can use.
TripleSafe And WaterGuard Installed In Wet Lake St. Louis Basement
Nobody wants water in their basement, and this Lake St. Louis homeowner was no exception. Faced with constant basement wall leaks during heavy rains, she contacted the experts at Woods Basement System. A Woods team installed several waterproofing products, including under-floor WaterGuard drains and a TripleSafe sump pump. This before & after shows a work-in-progress shot taken before the WaterGuard drains and the majority of the TripleSafe sump pump were installed as well as the finished product.
Improving the Window Well
Many basements have small windows that rest about level with the ground outside. To protect these windows, builders add small window wells that hold back the ground around the window and still allow light to enter the basement.
However, these builders often use cheap materials like corrugated metal sheets. While the slim sheets of metal might be enough to hold back the dirt around the window, it does not cover the floor of the window well, which can often remain a dirt-filled pit, and it does nothing to prevent water from filling up the window well and pressing against the window.
Thankfully, Woods Basement Systems has a total protection alternative. A new window well can be installed outside the existing window that will not only hold back the ground, but also covers the bottom of the window well, blocking water that might otherwise build up there and keeping the window clean and unblocked. A clear cover is fitted over the window well to block rainwater without blocking light. And because the new window well is made of a brighter material than the dirty sheet metal, the light it reflects into the basement will make the basement feel brighter as well.
The result is a clean, bright window that lets in more light without letting in water and dirt.
Leaking Water Eliminated with TripleSafe in Lake Saint Louis, MO Basement
Water was leaking in a basement in Lake Saint Louis, MO, causing some damage. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!
