To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits on top of the soil horizontally to avoid clogging. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the collected water away from the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure that it keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry and in great shape!

Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during  a power outage. Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. Unlike exterior drainage systems that are notorious for clogging, WaterGuard is an interior system that is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home to keep it free from mud and debris. It uses its wall flanges and channel holes to catch water from the foundation walls and floors before it can enter the basement and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

Design specialist Jacob K. assessed the situation and came up with the perfect solution. Foreman Juan H. then headed to the home to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system. 

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It accepts water from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. The Waterguard then drains the water to the sump pump.

Mark M. no longer has to worry about his home's basement collecting water. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.
