Granite City, Illinois resident Tom N. was tired of looking at his old, ugly window well. The well didn't allow for light to enter his basement and critters made a home of it.

These Pontoon Beach, IL homeowners had a WaterGuard waterproofing system installed in their basement due to water leaks. As a part of the waterproofing system, they chose to have a new sump pump installed, Woods Basement Systems' TripleSafe sump pump.

This system includes a primary pump, secondary pump, and a battery backup pump. This ensures the system will still continue to pump water out of the basement in the case of primary pump failure or power outage.

The well ducts, pictured above, provided an exit route for water entering through the windows by connecting the well duct to the Waterguard. Water is then drained to the sump pump and out of the home.
