We dig 12" down and install waterproofing along the edge of the home and bottom of the hole so all water must go into the draintile. Once in the draintile, the water is moved to a sump pump where it is pumped away from the home. 

Robert and Brenda can now work in their landscaping without flooding and know their foundation is safe as well.
