Homeowners in Belleville, IL had water leaking in their basement and needed an effective solution.  Woods Basement Systems assessed the situation and decided to install the WaterGuard Drainage System.  This system adds protection around the home and prevents any future leaks that may occur.  It works by catching the water and channeling it to the pump and out of the home.  The homeowners were happy with their new drainage system and dry basement for years to come!

A basement in Belleville, IL, was leaking during heavy rain and needed to be addressed before concerns of mold emerged. This was causing distress to the homeowners, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. Then, IceGuard™ was used to ensure the pipes do not get blocked by snow or ice during the colder winter months. Finally, a discharge line was used to carry the water away from the home. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry.

As part of the waterproofing system, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed. CleanSpace is a durable, thick plastic liner that prevents water from entering the basement through the walls and guides the unwanted water down to the drainage system. It give the basement a cleaner and brighter look.

WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. As shown in the picture, it is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It sits away from any mud that may clog it and collects unwanted water from the walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump.
