Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. Finally, IceGuard™ was used to make sure the pipes do not freeze or get blocked by snow during the colder winter months. Once the polymer sets, it expands and lifts the concrete back to its original position. We then sealed the joints and cracks with NexusPro®, a durable, UV-resistant sealant that prevents water infiltration. This solution not only stabilized the concrete but also extended its lifespan in just hours with minimal disruption.
