To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to keep the humidity out of the basement. This durable liner will also keep other outside elements out as well. Next, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits horizontally on top of the soil to ensure no clogging takes place. Finally, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure it keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry for years to come!

Doing a complete basement waterproofing drainage system means installing WaterGuard along the perimeter of the basement.  Going around hot water heaters and under stair steps are common obstacles.  We carefully remove a section of the basement floor along the wall which means going under basement stairs sometimes.  Then the waterproofing drainage is installed that takes the water flooding the basement to a sump pump.  The concrete floor that was removed is then replaced in the basement.

The TripleSafe contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps and a battery back up pump so, even in severe weather conditions that cause power outages, water will be pumped out and away from the basement and it will remain dry.

In the event of a power outage, the battery back up pump can remove up to 11,000 gallons of water from the basement on a fully charged battery.
